In a close fought final they defeated Bolowoton Football Academy, Ikorodu 1-0 while in the third place match, Liberty Academy of Ghana defeated the PFA North 2-0

Some of the stars in the winning team included the captain and overall tournament MVP, Anyura Ugonna [PFA Enugu], Noble Anasoh [Pepsi World Challenge winner/PFA Jos] and Oluwatosin Michael [St.Bede's UK scholarship winner/PFA Agege]

"The future of African football lies in functional and structured academies like the Pepsi Football Academy" said Prof. Edmond Dossa, CAF Instructor and leader of the Republic of Benin contingent to the tournament.
"This is about the only competition of international calibre that my boys have been exposed to on a continuous basis. Indeed, the Pepsi Football Academy has no rival as it is foremost in the mission of developing youth football talents," he added.
