The Pepsi Football Academy U 17's has avenged the 1-0 defeat suffered by the Super Eagles against the Ivory Coast in Ghana 2008!

Playing in far-away Abu-Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, in the Al-Ain International Tournament, the Pepsi Football Academy defeated Cote d'Ivoire 2-1 in their last group match.

The Pepsi Academy team have qualified for the competition's semi-finals, dropping points to the UAE host team but succeeding with wins against Iraq and Cote d'Ivoire.

They now meet Senegal in the semi-final.
